Sutton to benefit from £3 Million Re-development
Sutton town centre is to benefit from re-development project worth more than £2million. The project is scheduled to commence later this summer, and businesses in Sutton will have an opportunity to bid for some of this work.
At a proceurment event to be held at Holiday Inn, Gibson Road, Sutton, businesses in and around Sutton will have ten minutes to pitch their business to the six major contractors who have tendered for the project. The event will be held on Wednesday 27 May commencing at 10.00 a.m. Places are limited and in order to ensure your place please register at Sutton Chamber’s website – www.suttonchamber.co.uk. As part of the tender request the main contractors will be asked to outline from a sustainability view point how they will use and employ local resources. Small businesses will have the opportunity to pitch the materials, products and services they offer, in a similar manner to “Meet the Buyer” events.
Meanwhile, a member of the Supply London team will outline how they can help small businesses tender for public sector contracts in the future.
This free event is being jointly organised by Sutton Chamber and Sutton Council’s Economic Regeneration Team.
