Sutton is attracting new business to its town centre while those already operating in the borough, are declaring an increase in business.

A pole straw at the recent VIP breakfast hosted by the Sutton Chamber of Commerce revealed that 20% of businesses in Sutton are seeing an increase in their business operations.  This was also confirmed by a representative of Sutton Council who agreed that in comparison to other operations in the London Boroughs, businesses in Sutton are doing well.  Additionally, two national retailers – Dream Beds and Peacocks are scheduled to move into the town centre shortly and a live music venue – The Academy with be opening its doors in the month of April. 

Meanwhile the Sutton Chamber of Commerce is continuing to keep its pulse on the situation and is conduction seminars and training for businesses in the borough.

The VIP Breakfast is held on the first Tuesday of each month at the Holiday Inn in Sutton and attracts on average fifty to sixty businesses, council officials and Chamber representatives.  It is open anyone who operates a business.
